Laughter

You know, if you ever happen to look out your front window and see me doing yard work, and it seems like I'm laughing my fool head off… there's a very good chance I'm listening to Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend. That's what it was today… though, I was in the backyard, so almost certainly out of your sight… And I suppose it's presumptuous of me to think you might be looking anyways…

Well.

I bring it up because… well, the show already makes me think of you a bit (have you sensed the theme yet? everything makes me think of you…) because I have a sneaking suspicion that you're likely on Team Coco. But in particular the past few months, one of their sponsors…

Oh, love… I will take anything that reminds me of the night the kids were playing monopoly, however small, however incidental. Doesn't matter what funk I'm in, doesn't matter which part of my house is currently falling apart around me (seems like the whole entire thing, recently)… Thinking of that night always puts a smile on my face. It's still the best night of my whole entire life. Not kidding, not exaggerating. If I could replay that night, over and over and over again… I would.

That moment, by the way, just keeps getting cuter and cuter as time goes on. How'd it get there, indeed. lol.

Is it weird to say I'm jealous of the can you brought over to our friends' house on Halloween? Making your hip cold… Gosh, how I'd love to warm it back up…

Let's not even talk about how jealous I am of your phone. Ahem.

Anyways… I know I'm a beer snob, my love… but that's only for me. I don't care what beer you drink (except in so far as I care about every single last detail of you), I'm just happy that you drink beer. I would be happy even if you didn't. But, since you do… I just love that you could be the best drinking companion a man could possibly ask for… that I could possibly ask for… whatever can you happen to be holding. And I would happily stock my fridge with Miller Lite, if that's what you're having.

Um. I might, in fact, have had a Miller Lite in my fridge for the past couple of months… just in case…

Along with some Yuenglings (though, those are always there… I can't drink craft stuff all the time, you know…)…
